Still time to register for the SBDC and TPW "2010 Women Win"

HAMMOND – Registration is still available for “2010 Women Win,” an event hosted by the Louisiana Small Business Development Center at Southeastern Louisiana University and Tangipahoa Professional Women on Wednesday, March 24.
2010 Women Win is designed to connect professional women in the region and provide them with useful business information intended for today’s professional.
The half-day event will be packed with knowledge, tools, resources and connections. 2010 Women Win will be held at Southeastern’s Twelve Oaks Reception Hall on Texas Avenue from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Speakers scheduled are Stephanie Miller Murphy, director of Complex Sales for W Hotels of New Orleans, and Dian Lusher, owner of Dynel, Inc. Topics include how women can survive in the economic downturn, as well as communication and leadership techniques.
The event also will include opportunities to network with other professionals and local business owners. Table and booth sponsorships are available for businesses interested in participating.
Cost to attend is $35; discounts will be given to members of TPW and any Tangipahoa Parish chamber of commerce. To register, log on to www.selu.edu/sbdc.
