Southeastern Zumba class to benefit Relay for Life

   HAMMOND – Dance and exercise enthusiasts can have fun while raising money for a worthy cause at this year’s “Dance Against Cancer” benefit on March 22 at 5 p.m. 
   Held in Southeastern Louisiana University’s Kinesiology Building Dance Studio, the benefit includes a fun Zumba class, the hottest trend in fitness, as well as a silent auction and door prizes. Instructors for the Zumba class are Sarah Clifton and Angelique McIntyre.
   Donors for this year’s “Dance Against Cancer” benefit include Southeastern Alumni Association, Southeastern Extended Studies, Outback Steakhouse, Friends Restaurant, City Sports, Painting with a Twist, Images Salon, Best Buy, Gilboy’s Health Club, Gabby’s Creative Gifts, Carona’s Bakery, Stone Creek Club and Spa, Martha Thornhill – Mary Kay Consultant, and Janet Perise – Avon Consultant.
   For a $7 donation, participants can attend one or both events. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.
