Jenee Ratelle of Baton Rouge, a senior marketing major, and Christopher McKinley also of Baton Rouge, a junior in organizational communication, were named Queen and King of Southeastern Louisiana University’s Homecoming 2010 at halftime of the university’s Homecoming game Saturday, Oct. 23. Ratelle is active in Alpha Omicron Pi sorority, Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society, Excel Campus Outreach, the American Marketers Association, Order of Omega, and the Athletic Advisory Committee. She was the Greek Woman of the Year in 2009, is the recipient of the Alpha Omicron Pi Ruby ‘A’ Award and also received a Foundation Leadership Scholarship. McKinley is beau of the Black Student Union. He is a resident assistant in University Housing, is co-workshop director of the mentoring organization Project P.U.L.L., and is a Southeastern Student Foundation Board member. He is also an active member of the Black Student Union and the NAACP at Southeastern.
