Southeastern reschedules Homecoming parade, football game

HAMMOND – Due to scheduling issues, the Southeastern Louisiana University 2011 Homecoming football game on Saturday, Nov. 5, against Sam Houston State has been moved to 3:30 p.m.
The Homecoming parade, originally scheduled at 3:30 p.m. has been moved to 12:30 p.m. Reunions and tailgating activities will also be moved up several hours earlier. All other activities will be presented as scheduled.
“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our alumni and friends,” said Kathy Pittman, director of the Southeastern Alumni Association, “and we recognize this may require some change of plans by our fans.”
