COCKTAIL ANYONE? Larry Miller is bringing his one-man comedy act “Cocktails with Larry Miller” to Southeastern Louisiana University’s Columbia Theatre for the Performing Arts for one performance only on Thursday, Oct. 27 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at www.columbiatheatre.org or at 985-543-4371.

HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana University’s Columbia Theatre for the Performing Arts will present one of the funniest cocktail parties ever on Thursday, Oct. 27, at 7:30 p.m. Comedian Larry Miller will make one appearance only in “Cocktails with Larry Miller.”
With over 50 film appearances, including “Pretty Woman,” “The Nutty Professor,” and “The Princess Diaries,” Miller takes to the stage in his new one-man show described as “two parts comedy and one part theater with a dash of music and a twist of truth.” Miller will discuss the perils of plumbing, the unmasking of marriage and a debate between Moses and God, among other topics.
“Larry Miller exercises a refined wit in his show trading in the currency of folly and keen observation of human behavior,” said C. Roy Blackwood, Columbia Theatre interim director. “His astute observations and subsequent interpretations of our daily actions are spotlighted in such a way that we can only laugh at ourselves. We are so excited to bring Miller to Columbia Theatre and the Northshore community.”
Tickets range from $38 - $44 and are available at the Columbia Theatre box office on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. or by phone at (985) 543-4371. Patrons may also get tickets online at www.columbiatheatre.org.
