HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana University will continue to register students for the fall
2013 semester by canceling traditional "dead days" originally scheduled Aug. 15-17,
university officials said today.
"We continue to receive inquiries from students wishing to register for classes
this fall," said Lori Fairburn, director of Enrollment Services. "Because of this
demand, we are canceling our originally planned 'dead days' when no registration activities
would be allowed. We're trying to accommodate these last minute requests from students
wishing to enroll."
Students can easily register online from their homes or by utilizing one of the
many computer labs on campus. By accessing LEONet, students can register, search the
schedule of classes and check their balance due on tuition and fees.
Final schedule adjustment ends at 5 p.m. Aug. 20. Students who do not plan to
attend the fall semester should drop all classes before the end of the final schedule
adjustment to avoid financial responsibility.
Assistance with registration can be obtained from the Office of the Registrar
at 985-549-2066 or 800-222-7358.
