Tickets still available for Southeastern's Chefs Evening

HAMMOND – Tickets are still available for Chefs Evening, Southeastern Louisiana University's
annual fund raising event scheduled Sunday, March 3, from 5:30 – 8 p.m. at the Pennington
Student Activity Center.
A few patron tables remain available at a cost of $1,000 and include six tickets
to Chefs Evening with a reserved table, six tickets to the President's Toast held
prior to Chefs Evening, valet parking, VIP entrance 30 minutes prior to the event,
six wine glasses, two bottles of wine at the table, a personal wait staff and the
listing of a business or name in the event program.
A handful of reserved tables with tickets for six are still available for $500.
The popular fund raiser generates unrestricted funds for enhancement of academic programming
at Southeastern. Approximately 40 restaurants, bakeries, beverage distributors and
other vendors participate in the much-anticipated event.
Chefs Evening will include live and silent auctions. Among the offerings is a
14kt white gold diamond sideways cross pendant, handset and custom designed for Chefs
Evening by Guzzardo Fine Jewelers of Hammond. Also up for auction are a chartered
fishing trip, a special wine tasting for 12 with Southeastern President John L. Crain,
gift packages donated by Aveda Institute and Jean Maureen and many more items.
Diamond Sponsor for the event is La Capitol Federal Credit Union, with Whitney
Bank the Platinum Sponsor, First Guaranty Bank the Gold Sponsor, Entergy the Silver
Sponsor, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana and North Oaks Health System
