Music instructor to perform flute recital

HAMMOND – Rachel Ciraldo, Southeastern Louisiana University lecturer of flute, will perform a recital on January 29. The free performance is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in Pottle Recital Hall.
Performing with Ciraldo on piano will be Southeastern Associate Professor of Piano Henry Jones.
Ciraldo is principal flutist of the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra. She began her orchestral career performing with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and has held piccolo positions with the Hingham Symphony Orchestra, in Boston, Mass, and the Victoria Symphony Orchestra, in Victoria, Tex. She has also played with the orchestras of Austin, Santa Fe, Acadiana, Mobile, and Mississippi.
