Southeastern's ‘Lionpawlooza’ part of Hot August Night

HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana University Lion fans will be treated to the traditional pep rally during downtown Hammond's Hot August Night on Friday (August 15) will include the seventh annual Lionpawlooza.
The pep rally, which launches the Lions' 2014-15 athletics season, will start at 6:30 p.m. Coaches, cheerleaders, Lionettes, student-athletes and Southeastern's Spirit of the Southland Band will lead the rally on the stage in front of La Carreta Restaurant.
Following the pep rally, the celebration will continue behind the restaurant. Fans will have a chance to get autographs from student-athletes, take pictures with Southeastern's Lion mascot Roomie, spin the prize wheel, and more.
Lionpawlooza will also showcase the Lion Athletics Association and the Southeastern Bookstore for all things green and gold.
