Legislative wrap up breakfast to be held at Southeastern's new student union June 5

HAMMOND – The Northshore Legislative Alliance will host a breakfast meeting to discuss highlights of the current legislative session on June 5 at Southeastern Louisiana University's new student union in Hammond.

The evemt will feature state Sen. Jack Donahue, R-Covington; state Rep. Chris Broadwater, R-Hammond; state Rep. Tim Burns, R-Mandeville; state Rep. John Schroder, R-Covington; and state Rep. Scott Simon, R-Abita Springs.

The breakfast is being hosted by five alliance partners, the East St. Tammany, St. Tammany West and Hammond chambers of commerce, the Northshore Business Council and the St. Tammany Economic Development Foundation. It is being held two days after the June 2 close of the legislative session.

Tickets are $20 per person or $200 for a reserved table of eight. Although the event is open to the public, advanced registration is required, as seating is limited.
