Science and Technology students honored at Southeastern

HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana University's College of Science and Technology recognized students for outstanding academic performance at the college's honors convocation held April 29.
In addition, the college and the Southeastern Alumni Association recognized Col. John Whidden as its distinguished alumnus of the year. Whidden earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees from Southeastern in physiology and biochemistry.
His military experience includes 40 years in the U.S. Army Special Forces as a Green Beret Civil Affairs Officer. He has also served in senior U.S. government positions on many National Homeland Security and international U.N. joint defense projects. His awards include the Legion of Merit and a Bronze Star.

Walker: Christopher Cole Bass, Outstanding Graduating Senior in Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment.

Paulina: Alex Matherne, Outstanding Graduating Senior in Industrial Technology – Associate's Degree.

Reserve: Vincent Glorioso, Outstanding Graduating Senior in Mathematics.
St. Tammany Parish
Covington: Lawrence Ludwigsen, Outstanding Graduating Senior in Industrial Technology – Bachelor's Degree.
Madisonville: Kacie Krulisky, Outstanding Graduating Senior in Mathematics Education.
Tangipahoa Parish

distinguished students at the college's annual honors convocation. Recognized was

Health, and Environment. Congratulating him is Daniel McCarthy, dean of the College
of Science and Technology.
3) COLLEGE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY HONORS (St. Tammany) --
Southeastern Louisiana University's College of Science and Technology honored its
distinguished students at the college's annual honors convocation. Residents from
St. Tammany parish honored were, from left, Lawrence Ludwigsen of Covington, Outstanding
Graduating Senior in Industrial Technology – Bachelor's Degree; and Kacie Krulisky
of Mandeville, Outstanding Graduating Senior in Mathematics Education.

distinguished students at the college's annual honors convocation. Residents from
Tangipahoa Parish who were recognized as outstanding graduating seniors included,
from left, Blake Matherne of Hammond, Outstanding Senior in Biological Sciences; Trent
Lott of Independence, Outstanding Graduating Senior in Engineering Technology; Anthony
Haase of Loranger, Outstanding Senior in Biological Sciences; and Vincent Glorioso
of Hammond, Outstanding Graduating Senior in Mathematics.

distinguished students at the college's annual honors convocation. Katelyn Robillard,
a resident of Brusly was recognized as an outstanding graduating senior in biological
sciences. Congratulating her is Daniel McCarthy, dean of the College of Science and
Technology.
6) COLLEGE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY HONORS (Columbia, Ill.) - Southeastern Louisiana University's College of Science and Technology honored its
distinguished students at the college's annual honors convocation. Stephanie Mueller,
a resident of Columbia, Ill., was recognized as an outstanding graduating senior in
biological sciences. Congratulating her is Daniel McCarthy, dean of the College of
Science and Technology.
