Southeastern student appointed to undergraduate council for national fraternity

HAMMOND – Justin Archote, a sophomore at Southeastern Louisiana University, has been appointed to a two-year term as an at-large member of the Undergraduate Council (UGC) of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. The appointment was made by Delta Tau Delta President Jody Danneman.
A native of Independence, Archote is a kinesiology major and currently serves as vice-president of membership for the Southeastern chapter.
"I am honored to be appointed to the Undergraduate Council of this great fraternity,"Archote said. "I look forward to working closely with the Arch Chapter and representing my undergraduate brothers scattered across the nation."
The UGC works in conjunction with the Arch Chapter, the national executive branch of Delta Tau Delta, and is comprised of 12 undergraduate members serving staggered terms. The UGC represents the concerns and interests of 9,000 undergraduate men attending 134 different colleges and universities.
