Southeastern LSBDC offers tips for Small Business Saturday

HAMMOND – The Louisiana Small Business Development Center at Southeastern Louisiana University is working with its regional partners to offer the seminar, "Tips for Scoring Big on Small Business Saturday."
Scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 29, the seminar will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Southeast Louisiana Business Center, located at 1514 Martens Drive in Hammond, and is co-sponsored by the Hammond Chamber of Commerce.
Assistant Director of the Southeastern LSBDC Sandy Summers said Small Business Saturday is a day to celebrate and support small businesses and all they do for their communities. It is held the Saturday after Black Friday, the big shopping day following Thanksgiving each year. Small Business Saturday 2014 is Nov. 29.
"In this power packed, strategy driven three-hour class, participants will leave with information specifically related to developing a campaign to help a business get the most out of Small Business Saturday," Summers said. "Topics include social media marketing, email marketing, event marketing and more. Don't delay - register today to reserve your spot in this Small Business Saturday Marketing Tour."
