Southeastern LSBDC to host time management seminar

HAMMOND – The Louisiana Small Business Development Center (LSBDC) at Southeastern Louisiana University will offer a workshop designed to help businesses and their staffs manage time more effectively. Titled "Time Management: Easy to Say but Tough to Do," the seminar is scheduled Tuesday, Jan. 22, from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Southeast Louisiana Business Center located at 1514 Martens Dr. in Hammond.
"Many of us know that we could be managing our time more effectively; but it can be difficult to identify the mistakes that we're making and to know how we could improve," said Assistant Director of the Small Business Development Center Sandy Summers. "In this event, we will discuss the most common time management mistakes and identify strategies and tips to overcome them. We can't control time, but we can learn to manage the events that take time."
The workshop is free to attend; however, pre-registration is preferred, and guaranteed seating is only provided for pre registered attendees. Register online at www.lsbdc.org.
Summers added that networking begins at 11:30 a.m., and participants are welcome to bring their own lunch.
