HAMMOND – The Louisiana Small Business Development Center (LSBDC) at Southeastern
Louisiana University, along with the Bogalusa Chamber of Commerce and Northshore SCORE,
will offer a workshop designed to help businesses and their staffs manage time more
effectively.
Titled “Time Management: Easy to Say but Tough to Do,” the seminar is scheduled
Tuesday, Feb. 23, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Northshore Technical Community College
Sullivan Campus in Bogulasa located at 1710 Sullivan Dr. SCORE mentor Sandy Hughes
of Hughes Consulting is the scheduled speaker for the free seminar.
“Many of us know that we could be managing our time more effectively; but it
can be difficult to identify the mistakes that we’re making and to know how we could
improve,” said Assistant Director of the Small Business Development Center Sandy Summers.
“In this workshop, we will discuss the most common time management mistakes and identify
strategies and tips to overcome them. We can’t control time, but we can learn to manage
the events that take time.”
Although the workshop is free to attend, guaranteed seating is only provided
for pre registered attendees. Register online at www.lsbdc.org.
