Southeastern students honored at Business Convocation

HAMMOND – Several students at Southeastern Louisiana University were honored May 2
at the annual academic convocation sponsored by the College of Business.
Interim Dean Antoinette Phillips also recognized those students inducted into
Beta Gamma Sigma honor society and Southeastern’s own honor society, the Thirteen
Club.
Students recognized with awards included:
East Baton Rouge Parish: Morgan Dietrich, Greenwell Springs, Distinguished Graduate in Management; Victoria
Mercer, Baton Rouge Outstanding Academic Award in Economics.
St. Tammany Parish: Jonathan Jee, Covington, Distinguished Graduate in Business Administration.
Tangipahoa Parish: Kaitlin Farkas, Distinguished Graduate in Accounting; Paul Obermann, Distinguished
Graduate in Finance; Stephanie Wells Distinguished Graduate in Supply Chain Management;
and Darby Murphy, Distinguished Graduate in Marketing. All are from Hammond.

BATON ROUGE AREA BUSINESS STUDENTS HONORED– The Southeastern Louisiana University
College of Business recognized two Baton Rouge area students as distinguished graduates

SOUTHEASTERN HONORS ST. TAMMANY BUSINESS STUDENT -- Jonathan Jee of Covington was
recognized as the Distinguished Graduate in Business Administration by the Southeastern
Louisiana University College of Business at the college’s honors convocation held
May 2.
