HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana University’s public radio station KSLU 90.9FM is
now offering listeners the opportunity to hear the radio’s programming anywhere through
the free Radio FX app.
Listeners can simply download the free app through the Apple App Store and Google
Play, search KSLU and save the station under favorites, creating an on-the-go resource
for fans of 90.9 FM.
“The KSLU app through Radio FX allows our station to go mobile for a more interactive
radio experience,” said General Manager Todd Delaney. “Today, radio stations have
to make it easy for listeners to connect anywhere at any time, and our Radio FX app
helps them to do that in the simplest way possible.”
KSLU offers a wide variety of programming, including music and live broadcasts
of sporting events, the award-winning and syndicated Rock School show, and the community
talk show “Point of View.” Named the No. 2 college radio station in the region by
the Southeast Journalism Conference, KSLU provides Southeastern students interested
in broadcasting with an intensive learning environment. Learn more about KSLU at http://www.kslu.org/, and for more information on Radio FX, visit http://www.radiofx.co/.
