HAMMOND – The Louisiana Small Business Development Center at Southeastern Louisiana University will host a free event in Hammond on branding.
Titled “Branding Matters,” the seminar will be held Friday, Sept. 7, from 8 to 9:30 a.m., at the Southeast Louisiana Business Center, located at 1514 Martens Dr. The program will feature JR Portman of 5 Stones Media in Hammond.
“Do you know the difference between a brand and a logo? How much attention should you be paying to your business’s brand identity?” asked SBDC Assistant Director Sandy Summers. “In this class, we’ll dig into why taking the time to properly brand your business is so important and how to know when it is time to rebrand.”
Summers said attendees will study samples of successful and unsuccessful brands as well as delve into the process of branding, from initial audience research and positioning to final mock-ups and roll-out.
There is no cost to attend; however, pre-registration is preferred.
