Louisiana University will hold a free seminar on tax planning May 22 in Ponchatoula.
Co-sponsored with the Ponchatoula Chamber of Commerce, First Baptist Church of
Ponchatoula, Ponchatoula Therapy, and First Guaranty Bank, the free seminar titled
“Tax Cuts and Jobs Act – Individuals and Businesses” will take place from 7:30 to

“The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 unleashes the most significant altercations

to dramatically impact nearly every taxpayer across the financial spectrum – from
individuals and families to corporations, pass-through entities and estates. Our local
expert will help us navigate these changes through detailed comparisons of pre and
post legislation tax filings.”
Certified Public Accountant Phil Hebert is the scheduled guest speaker.
Although there is no cost to attend, seating is only guaranteed for pre-registered
attendees. To register or for more information, call (985) 549-3831 or email lsbdc.slu@lsbdc.org.
