Southeastern 101 is not required of transfer or readmitted Southeastern students with 30 hours or more. Those students will replace Southeastern 101 with 2 hours of free electives.

1Students must complete a minimum of 6 hours in a two-semester sequence of biological
science plus a physical science or a two-semester sequence of a physical science plus
a biological science. Students must complete one of the natural science two-semester
sequences listed in the Admissions Criteria and Academic Regulations section of this
catalog.
2Twelve semester hours in one foreign language are required.
3Students must take HIST 101-102 or 201-202.
4Selected from Foreign Language, History, Literature (English or Foreign Language),
or Philosophy. (Sophomore level or above.) The following English courses will not
fulfill this requirement: 312, 321, 322, 371, 372, 373, 380, 413, 414, 447, 448, 467,
482, 483, 485, and 486.
