Policy Statement

The University reserves the right to implement mandatory campus community testing for infectious diseases based on legal mandate and/or public health guidance.  Such testing may be required of faculty, staff, students, vendors, contractors, visitors and patrons at the discretion of the University.

 

Purpose of Policy

To provide for mandatory testing for infectious diseases in the interest of helping to preserve the health and safety of members of the campus community.

 

Applicability

This policy applies to all faculty, staff, students, vendors, contractors, visitors, and patrons.

 

Policy Procedure

Should the University implement mandatory campus community testing for infectious diseases based on legal mandate and/or public health guidance, failure to comply with mandatory testing may result in prohibition from participation in specific events or activities as well as loss of privileges and/or disciplinary action, up to and including termination or suspension/expulsion from the University, as appropriate.
