Thanks to support from our generous donors, the College of Nursing and Health Sciences (CNHS) fully launched its new student-led Ambassador Program during the 2024–2025 academic year.
Plans for the new program began in the spring of 2024, with the selection of a group of 7 inaugural ambassadors. During the 2024–2025 academic year, the program expanded to include 18 students.
CNHS Ambassadors serve as student leaders, promoting the college through tours, recruitment events, community service, and activities supporting current students. This program aims to develop leadership skills that prepare students for success in their future professions.
Reed Davis, a senior kinesiology major, was elected president of the inaugural group of CNHS Ambassadors. Davis said, “Being given the opportunity to serve as the inaugural president of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences Ambassadors was a chance to lay a foundation
of leadership, service, unity, and collaboration within our college.” Davis explained how being the inaugural president helped him develop his leadership skills, stating, “With no set foundation in place, I was given the unique opportunity to build an organization from the ground up, establishing a culture of service and excellence. This organization didn’t just strengthen my leadership; it shaped it.”
Thank you to all the donors who helped make the CNHS Ambassador Program a reality, and for helping us develop future leaders.
