Southeastern Foundation announces Board of Directors

The Southeastern Louisiana University Foundation recently announced its 2026-27 Board of Directors.

“A foundation’s strength comes from its commitment to its mission,” said Interim Vice President for University Advancement Malayne Sharp. “With this group of leaders guiding our board, we are ready to advance the university’s reach and lead our next century of impact.”

Barry “Beezie” Landry, Jr. of Hammond will serve as chair of the board. Vice President of Investment Advisors at Stirling Properties, Landry is in his first year of a two-year term.

Southeastern Foundation Board members include Scott Adams of Denham Springs; Tom Akers of Mount Juliet, Tenn.; Brian Badinger of Baton Rouge; Hart Bordelon, Sr. of Hammond, secretary; Dr. Gary Clark of Baton Rouge; Toby Cortez of Ponchatoula; Steve Cory of Mandeville, board treasurer; Beth Ebberman of Metairie; Dennis James of Ponchatoula; Stephanie Kropog of Hammond; Wallace Lewis, Sr., of Hammond; Francis Mercante of Hammond; Russell Penzato of Mandeville; Dr. Margaret Montgomery Richard of New Orleans; Dr. Cindy Visot of Tampa, Fla., vice chair/chair-elect; and Jonathan Wong of Hammond.
