Southeastern Louisiana University’s Columbia Theatre for the Performing Arts, in partnership with Lighthouse Coastal Brasserie, Candlestick Bakery, and the Red, White and Brew, is presenting an interactive, Batman-themed murder mystery dinner theater event titled “Gotham Nights.” Performances are scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 17, 18, and 19 at the Hammond theatre, located at 220 E. Thomas Street.
Theatre-goers will join Gotham City’s greatest heroes and villains as they enjoy a three-course meal, courtesy of Chef Ryan Haigler. Along the way, participants will search for clues throughout the theatre in an effort to help the caped crusader defeat some of his most diabolical adversaries.
“This has become one of the community’s favorite annual Columbia events,” said Artistic Director of The Columbia Theatre Jim Winter. “Each year we do a new theme and this is absolutely our most ambitious one yet.”
Tickets for Gotham Nights are $100 and include dinner, a free drink ticket, and all of the evening’s entertainment. Tickets are available now and can be purchased through Columbia Theatre’s website at www.columbiatheatre.org or by calling 985-549-2787.
