Brief bio: Currently Professor of Business Law in the Accounting & Finance Department. Received Juris Doctor from Loyola University of New Orleans School of Law. Worked for the Tangipahoa Parish clerk of court. Worked at Pittman & Matheny law firm before being employed as an assistant professor at Southeastern Louisiana University. Since joining the faculty, have been a member of the Faculty Senate serving as president for three terms and parliamentarian for ten terms. Have also been elected to the University Tenure & Promotion Committee and Faculty Grievance Committee and appointed to the Calendar Committee.  For many years represented Southeastern faculty on the Faculty Advisory Council to the University of Louisiana System.

Allied Academies Distinguished Research Award for Organizational Hostility Toward Whistleblowers (2009).

Allied Academies Distinguished Award for Can-Spam Act of 2003: How to Spam Legally (2004).
