The Department of Health and Human Sciences oversees four undergraduate degree programs, two graduate degree programs, and many community service projects and facilities.
Mission:
The mission of the Department of Health and Human Sciences is to prepare students to be highly effective service providers in the areas of counseling, social work, family and consumer sciences, child life education, health systems management, and speech-language pathology. Our diverse Department strives to enhance the lives and health of our students and the people of Southeast Louisiana through the acquisition and sharing of knowledge and the application of skills
