Brief Bio:

Dr. Aristides R Baraya, graduate from Tulane University at New Orleans, in International Development; and Planning Education from Kentucky University/U.Valle-Colombia.

Doctor in Dentistry from, Universidad de Cartagena, Colombia

Dr. Baraya is a scholar and teacher in international business with specializations in Latin America and cross cultural business.

Dr. Baraya is currently director of the Hispanic Business and Leadership Institute at Southeastern Louisiana University. He is also member of the Board of Director of the National Scientific and Academic Council, Distance University of Costa Rica-UNED; Member of the Board of Advisors at the PYMES Observatory of Costa Rica; Member of the Board of Advisors, Center for Global Business, Oregon Pacific University, Member of the Advisory Council for Social Development, Secretary of State of Honduras, Member of the Advisory Committee Colombian Local Governments, Latino Forum Networking Group- Louisiana

He served as a Member of the Board of Advisors of the Hispanic Resources Center of Louisiana, as well as at the United Stated Hispanic Business Foundation. He was Visiting Professor at Medical University of South Carolina, Visiting professor at University Latina of Panama and University of San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
