Brief Bio:

Dr. Gardner received her PhD in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a specialty in Health Economics. At Southeastern, Dr. Gardner typically teaches Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, and Health Economics at the undergraduate level, as well as Economics of Public Policy in the MBA program.  Currently Dr. Gardner serves on the editorial board for the Research in Business and Economics Journal and as a committee member on the Service Fellow Committee for the Academy of Economics and Finance. Her publications include articles in the Journal of Human Resources, Inquiry, Southwestern Economic Review, and International Journal of Business and Social Science, among others.
