Langley’s current photographic work, Mutualism, explores a relationship between science and art. Using microscopes and digital manipulation, she enhances intricate specimens with vibrant hues, merging actuality and abstraction and transforming minute matter into archival pigment prints.

Her work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group shows nationally and has received awards and publication from the Tokyo International Foto Awards, Nikon Small World Photomicrography Competition, and France Bioimaging.
