Preparing for a Job in Education

  1. Develop a placement file.

  2. Find part-time jobs working with teenagers.

  3. Teach Sunday School.

  4. Participate in extracurricular activities.

  5. Visit schools and meet the principal. Let him/her know of your interests.

  6. Identify businesses that employ persons with specific academic backgrounds.
