Southeastern welcomes students back for the start of classes this week while we continue to keep all faculty, staff and students who are not yet able to make it to campus in our thoughts as the region works to recover from devastating flooding.

The Center for Student Excellence offers Learning Assistance Programs for all currently enrolled Southeastern students.

Learning Assistance programs are designed to do the following:

  • Serve students in a supportive and safe learning environment

  • Challenge all students to become engaged in the learning process

  • Foster academic confidence

  • Demonstrate course-specific learning strategies that are transferable to related courses

  • Overcome test anxiety

  • Model study group formation and operation

  • Improve academic success

  • Use available resources
