Hey! My name is Ashton Bellott, and I am from Amite, Louisiana, and am majoring in mathematics. Many people usually make a face at me when I say that and then tell me, "I couldn't do that" or "Heaven help you", but I really love math because it is an AWESOME subject.  I love helping people learn it!   I am an active member in Gamma Beta Phi and NSCS on campus.  My family owns a small dairy farm in Amite, and I have been milking cows since I was 12 years old.  I enjoy outdoor activities, hanging out with friends, shopping, and helping people.  In my free time on campus, I also enjoy hanging out or studying at St. Albert's with my second family.  I'm so excited that I have this opportunity to meet and help my fellow lions!

Hello, my name Cade Brown and I'm from Lockport, Louisiana.  I'm majoring in biology with a concentration in ecology and a minor in psychology. I would like to one day work with animals in an outdoor setting.  I've always loved spending time outside and traveling.  My interests include traveling the country as well as exploring my local community. When I'm not involved in school work, I enjoy playing in a band with my friends.  I'm looking forward to being able to assist anyone who might need my help at the Center for Student Excellence.

My name is James Chancey and I am a Computer Science major with a minor in Mathematics.  I am at SELU for my second Bachelors degree.  My first degree is in Economics from LSU.  In addition to Computer Science and Economics, I am also interested in history and philosophy.  Currently, I am available to tutor math, chemistry, economics, finance and accounting.

 I am Dinesh Devkota, an international student majoring in computer science with a minor in mathematics.  My interests are wide and wandering. I enjoy developing web applications and have a penchant for blogging.  Similarly, I love electronics, particularly, laptop repairing (hardware and software). Above all, I enjoy helping people.  I normally help people by tutoring, sharing information on the web, creating web applications, repairing laptops and so on.  I have a dream to work for a company in information technology.

My name is Sarah Ford and I am a sophomore majoring in psychology with a minor in music.  I hope to one day receive a doctorate in psychology.  I am the senator of the College of the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences in the Student Government Association and the Vice President of Delta Omicron Professional Music Fraternity.  I love to sing, play piano, paint, run and go to the beach. Hello!  My name is Pankaj Jairu.  My friends call me 'PJ', as my first name is difficult to pronounce.  I am an international student from Nepal majoring in chemistry with a minor in mathematics.  Besides that, I have been taking part in chemistry research at Dr. Debra D. Dolliver's Organic Chemistry Research Laboratory since fall 2012.  I find tutoring very effective as both the tutor and students get an opportunity to learn new things during the session.

My name is Dillon Joiner, and I'm a biology major from Ponchatoula and will hopefully be starting medical school in fall 2015.  I was raised in a house in the swamp that you had to travel seven miles by boat to reach.  I am very passionate about the science of evolution and will be studying in the Galapagos Islands this summer, the same place where Darwin found his finches and came up with his famous theory.

My name is Robin Joshi, and I am currently pursuing a double degree in mathematics and chemistry.  I like chemistry because it is so hands-on and rewarding to work in the lab trying to figure out stuff. I love mathematics because it is so logical and rational. These are both difficult subjects, but I find that given time and some patience, learning these subjects becomes easier. I am glad that I am part of the CSE, and I hope to help you out in your quest for learning.

My name is Charles Long. I was raised in California and moved to Louisiana in 2008. I enjoy playing golf and learning new things.  My major is computer science with a scientific concentration, and I am also pursuing a minor in mathematics.  I am currently in the Southeaster Honors Program, Gamma Beta Phi, and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS). I'm Cody Love, a history and English major with a concentration in creative writing.  I'll mainly be tutoring in Spanish and English.  I grew up in Gretna, Louisiana, and went to Foutainebleau High School in Mandeville.  I am an active member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia and an avid musician.  Travel is my life and writing is my passion, and it is because of these that I have great determination to master the subjects that I will be tutoring.  I understand the time and dedication that goes into learning these subjects and am by no means a master, but I am ready to sit down with you so we can learn together.

My name is Caleb Porter, and I am a junior majoring in Vocal Music Education.  I attended Franklinton High School, where I was a four year member of the LMEA All-State Choirs as well as my local school Show Choir.  These experiences helped me discover my passion for music and encouraged me to pursue music in college as a vocalist, pianist and organist.  I am also minoring in Mathematics, which is an interest of mine.  On campus, I am a member of Delta Omicron Professional Music Fraternity and I am involved in Wesley United Methodist Campus Ministry.  I look forward to working with a variety of students through tutoring, helping them to achieve their goals in academics and in life.

I am from Slidell, Louisiana.  I am majoring in mathematics with an education concentration.  I know math is not the most glamorous subject but I absolutely love it...I even ask for math books for Christmas.  When I'm not studying or doing homework, I am usually at St. Albert's or participating with the Catholic Student Association.  The quote I live by is by Randy Pausch, "The brick walls are there for a reason.  They're to show us how badly we want something."  I am very excited to be a tutor, and my goal is to help struggling students get through those brick walls.
