Marie Bernard is a certified teacher with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction - Reading Specialist.   She has spent over twenty years inside the classroom and as a school administrator. During her employment at Southeastern, she has worked in the Athletics Department as a Learning Specialist for the student athletes and recently worked in the Center for Student Excellence as an SE 101/102 Instructor and Academic Advisor. As the Assistant Director of the Tinsley Learning Center, Marie now brings her love and passion for education to the students of Southeastern Louisiana University.

 

Mindy Holmes

Mindy Holmes assists in the day-to-day operations of theTinsley Learning Center. She has over 30 years years of administrative experience from various state organizations and multiple family businesses. She and her family are cattle ranchers and follow and participate in the rodeo circuit. Mindy brings a touch of sunshine to the TLC, and the tutors lovingly refer to her as Momma Mindy.

 

Bailey Sacco

Master of Psychology

Hi! My name is Bailey, and I am so excited to start this new chapter and to be a part of this wonderful team! I graduated from Southeastern in the fall of 2021 with a degree in I/O Psychology. I am now working towards my Master's in hopes of one day becoming a Clinical Psychologist. In my free time, I love to binge-watch television series, hang out with friends, and play with my beautiful kitties! I hope to see you soon at the Tinsley Learning Center! 

 

 

Hailie Yoder

Hi, my name is Hailie Yoder. I graduated from Southeastern in the spring of 2023 with a degree in Political Science. I am currently pursuing my Master's in Business Administration. I plan on going to law school after graduation. I am from Arizona and play on the SLU soccer team. My advice for college would be to push yourself out of your comfort zone and take advantage of every opportunity you have; college goes by fast! I look forward to seeing y’all around!

 

 

 

Caroline DeMars

Hi Everyone! I'm Caroline, and I am very excited to be a part of the Tinsley team this semester! I graduated from Louisiana State University in the fall of 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Sciences Disorders. I am now working towards my Master's in Business Administration. When I am not at school, I enjoy going to the gym, reading, spending time with my friends and family, and traveling! I can't wait to meet you at the Tins!

 

 

Madison King

Hi, my name is Madison King, and I am currently working on my undergraduate degree in History with a double minor in Criminal Justice and Political Science. In the fall, I plan to return to Southeastern to work on my Master's Degree in History. Afterwards, I intend to become a professor and work on my PhD with an emphasis in British History. A few things about myself is that I love to watch British television, read books, and spend time with my dog, Koda.
