Side front view of the Bankston General Store at Mile Branch Settlement on the Washington Parish Fair Grounds. The store was built by Claudie Bankston in late 1890's. Donated by heirs of Mr. Leon V. Bankston.

A side view of the Sylvest-Magee Cabin in Mile Branch Settlement on the Washington Parish Fair Grounds. It is composed of two buildings. The Nehemiah Sylvest Log Cabin (1880-1881), donated by Mr. & Mrs. T.C. Sylvest in 1977 is the front part and the Magee House (1909-1910), donated by Misses Saddie and Ethel Magee in 1975 in memory of their brother, Jacob Nathaniel "Big Jake" Magee, forms the rear portion of theis structure.
