Ralyn is a member of the Kinesiology Student Association and Honors Student Association. She works on campus in the World Languages and Culture office. After graduation, she plans to go to Occupational Therapy school. She is passionate about health and fitness, expressing herself and utilizing her creativity, and motivating others. She would like to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy working with children.

Razan Qamar

Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry

Razan Qamar is a freshman majoring in chemistry with a concentration in biochemistry.  She currently serves as an undergraduate lab assistant in Southeastern’s biochemistry research lab, and she is the publicist of the ACS club on campus. Razan presented research in the LBRN’s annual conference in January and the Honors Recognition Ceremony in December. After graduating, she plans to further her education by attending medical school and pursue a career in medical research.

William is a junior, majoring in Biology with a concentration in Microbiology. He is a tutor in the Tinsley Learning Center and enjoys being able to help students each and everyday. After graduation, he plans on attending Louisiana State University's Medical school. In his free time, he enjoys challenging himself by learning new languages. William enjoys being an Honors student and feels the classes allow him to have a more in-depth understanding of the subjects.

Philip is a Sophomore Honors student majoring in Integrative Biology. He is an embedded chemistry tutor for the Tinsley Learning Center, an Honors ambassador, and the treasurer for the Biology Undergraduate Society. Philip also has a passion for many cultural realms, including graphic arts, poetry, and prose. He recited the poem "Skadu's teen die muur" by Koos du Plessis, first in his native Afrikaans and then his own translated version, in the 2021's Culture Shock event. He plans on attending medical school following the completion of his bachelor's degree. He is a deeply service-oriented person who wishes to apply his fascination with biological systems in the pursuit of aiding those with life-threatening diseases.
