A Green Approach to the Extraordinary Chemistry of Ordinary Things
Get a head start on college this summer! This Early College science course is a non-mathematical
approach to introduce high school students to key concepts in chemistry from a perspective
of phenomena they witness every day. Eligible students are able to earn three (3)
college credit hours by enrolling in this course at no charge.
Green Chemistry (PHSC 102) is six weeks long, with class Monday – Thursday. The course is offered virtually but
is also available in-person for eligible students who have their own transportation
to the Southeastern campus.
Eligible students: 11th grade Louisiana GEAR UP students (Click here for the list of eligible schools).
