When I was in JROTC, I seriously considered joining the military and attended Camp Shelby in Mississippi. During my time there, I completed training which included navigation, multi-mile jogs, canoeing, and rappelling!
What do you feel is special about Southeastern?
I absolutely love Southeastern! I have so many special memories here. I met my fiancé in undergrad, I've made lifelong friends, got to travel for educational experiences, had many late nights and early mornings, plenty of tears of joy, and last but not least, had a stellar education. Our campus is truly a community. There's so much love, support, and generosity , and you won't find that anywhere else!
Why do you think students should choose to attend Southeastern?
Students should choose to attend Southeastern because it will become a second home to you. Between top-notch programs, plenty of scholarships and financial aid opportunities, and numerous opportunities for growth in student organizations, you'll have a worthwhile experience. You will have plenty of memories and experiences. Everyone who attended has a story to tell and a unique journey that has come full circle. From your very first day, to your very last day and beyond at the university, you'll be a lifelong member of the Lion Nation.
