Your resume is the first impression you will make on an employer. What kind of impression will your resume make at that ever important moment? Will it land you that interview or will it end up in the rejected pile?

 

Our office has a number of online resources available on this page to assist you in putting together a resume that will make a good first impression. In addition to the resources below, you may also use Optimal Resume to help you create your resume. Email Resume Reviews

No time to come in for an appointment? Our Email Resume Review Service is convenient to your busy schedule. To prepare your resume, review our resume assistance information, and create/modify your resume following our format and content recommendations. Then email your resume to careercounseling@selu.edu and include "Resume Review" in the subject line. Our career counseling staff will conduct a general review of your resume and email you with suggestions. The wait time you will experience varies depending on demand – so don't wait until the last minute to email your resume if you're facing an application deadline!

NOTE: Resumes will be returned with no critique if format and content guidelines are not met.
