Grants are a form of need-based financial aid that does not need to be repaid. Eligibility is determined by the information you provide on your FAFSA. Grants are awarded by the Federal and State governments and Southeastern (Institutional Grants).
Federal Student Aid (FSA), also known as Title IV funding, is provided by the U.S. Department of Education. Federal aid helps students to pay for higher education expenses. Federal student aid covers such expenses as tuition and fees, room and board, books and supplies, and transportation.
Work-study is designed to give part-time employment to undergraduate and graduate students who need the income to help meet the costs of post-secondary education and other expenses.
Private educational loans, also known as alternative loans, are available to students who are not eligible for financial aid or who need additional funds to meet educational expenses.
