Lion Up United

Southeastern and United Way

The United Way Campaign runs from October 28 to November 19.

Over the last 100 years, United Way has been the force for good in our community. We’ve been at the forefront of improving outcomes in education, income, and health for every person, everywhere. Our communities’ dedication to United Way is why more families have stable homes, children receive quality education, and people can afford a quality life. Our enduring legacy is a testament to the incredible impact your support has had on millions of lives.

Where there’s a need, there’s always been a United Way. We’ve come a long way, and our journey continues thanks to you.

For every dollar donated, United Way multiplies it into $14.23 community impact. Your contributions help children succeed in school, families live healthier lives, and individuals achieve financial stability.

I am deeply passionate about eradicating homelessness and equipping ALICE families with the resources necessary to lift them to prosperity. As the former Board President of Family Promise of St. Tammany, I saw firsthand the impact of United Way support through community engagement and investment in mission-critical service for ALICE Families…I was excited to be at the opening of the Prosperity Center in Bogalusa. This holds a special place in my heart, as both my wife Misty and I began our careers in higher education there.  I am eager to continue this important work in service to the United Way SELA Board.
