Strategic Enrollment Management Plan Update
May 16, 2023
As shared in previous communications, a broad-based Task Force has worked diligently over the past several months to create a Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) Plan for our University. The SEM Plan outlines a significant number of goals and actions, providing a roadmap for us to address recruitment, retention, and overall student success at Southeastern. The completed SEM Plan can be viewed here. A list of the members for each of the five SEM Task Force Working Groups is provided on page 3 of the Plan document.
I want to thank the Task Force members and Dr. Kay Maurin, Chief Enrollment Management Officer, who chaired the Task Force, for their collective diligence and hard work on this important project. I also want to thank Vickie Alleman with Pivot Point Marketing & Communications who facilitated the planning process.
The goals and actions reflected in the SEM Plan provide an audacious roadmap for the future of student success at our University, and it is incumbent upon all members of the Southeastern family to fully embrace these initiatives. Likewise, the elements of the Plan establish important priorities for utilization of resources across all units. I am extremely optimistic that implementation of the SEM Plan initiatives will have a profoundly positive impact on our students and institution.
