R.O.A.R.- Reach Out and Respond
Faculty and close friends are often in a better position to recognize when a student is experiencing some type of distress. Prompt action to early warning signs could be the difference between a situation escalating to a deeper issue or linking the student with the proper support service.
However, sometimes we experience troubling behavior but we are uncertain what we should do. You should not feel that you are alone when you are concerned for someone's well-being.
The Student Threat Assessment & Response Team (START) encourages you to R.O.A.R. - Reach Out And Respond.
