Southeastern welcomes students back for the start of classes this week while we continue to keep all faculty, staff and students who are not yet able to make it to campus in our thoughts as the region works to recover from devastating flooding.
We attempted to reach ALL our students in recent days, but we realize communication has been difficult, if not impossible for some. If you are just now able to see this message, please contact so we can have a better understanding of your status and work with you so you can attain your educational goals.

Active Shooter Preparedness

Faculty and close friends are often in a better position to recognize when a student is experiencing some type of distress.

Prompt action to early warning signs and connecting the student to support services, could be the difference between a situation escalating into a deeper or tragic matter.

Sometimes we experience troubling behavior in the classroom or on campus, but are uncertain what we should do. You should not feel that you are alone when you are concerned for someone's well-being.

The Student Threat Assessment & Response Team (START) encourages you to R.O.A.R. - Reach Out And Respond.
