Alumni Awards

The true measure of a university’s greatness can be found in the achievements of its alumni, and Southeastern Louisiana University is certainly known to develop leaders in many fields of endeavor. A vast number of the University’s alumni have gained unique distinction through success in their professions, service to the University, and contributions their community. The Southeastern Alumni Association established its awards program in 1969 to honor outstanding graduates and to celebrate their achievements.

The purpose of the Alumni Awards program is to recognize Southeastern alumni who have made significant contributions to communities, and whose accomplishments, affiliations and careers have honored the legacy of support to the University.

Rob Dugas

A retired executive and former Senior Vice President at Chick-fil-A, Rob has built an incredible career rooted in leadership, innovation, humility, and service. But perhaps even more meaningful is the way he has continued to give back to his alma mater, mentoring students, speaking to classes, leading workshops, supporting programs like Project PULL, and helping Southeastern students build connections and see what’s possible beyond the classroom.

His commitment to helping others reach their full potential and his unwavering dedication to Southeastern truly embody what it means to be a Lion.
