Bev Marshal

Bev Marshall, a 1993 graduate with a master's degree in English, retired in 2012 as Southeastern Writer-in-Residence. She has published three successful novels that have been translated into several languages. She has received numerous awards for her work, including the Mississippi Library Award for Best Fiction for Right as Rain and recognition of Hot Sundae Blues by the New York Public Library as one of the best books for teenagers. Marshall serves on the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival and is the co-founder of the St. Tammany Parish Writers Group and the Southeastern Writers Group.
