Education Committees

College of Education Curriculum Committee

The College of Education Curriculum Committee is the vehicle through which students and faculty can discuss innovations and problems and make proposals for curriculum changes to better prepare elementary and secondary school teachers and non teaching College of Education majors. Curriculum changes recommended by the Curriculum Committee must be approved by the Council for Teacher Education.

Council for Teacher Education

The Council for Teacher Education formulates policies for teacher education, consistent with state law and subject to the approval of the president and the University of Louisiana Board of Supervisors. These policies deal with philosophy, objectives, organization and administration, curricula, and student personnel services. The policies are administered by the dean of the College of Education.
