Welcome to the Southeastern Family! 

Transitioning to a new campus can be exciting—and sometimes a little overwhelming. The Transfer Student Success Center (TSSC) is here to support students transferring with 30 or more credit hours every step of the way.

Our mission is to streamline your transfer experience by focusing on your individual enrollment and academic needs. We are committed to helping you make a smooth transition to Southeastern while keeping you on track toward your educational goals.

Support from the TSSC begins before enrollment and continues throughout your first year. Because every transfer student’s journey is unique, we provide personalized, one-on-one guidance tailored to your experience.

What we do in the TSSC:

• Provide academic advising, major exploration, and onboarding for new transfer students

• Connect transfer students with academic departments for additional advising and major-specific questions, as needed

• Educate transfer students on available campus resources for academic and personal support

• Assist with Workday, Canvas, Webmail, and other essential campus systems

• Help transfer students plan out the classes they need to graduate at our “Path to Graduation” academic planning workshops

• Provide information about student engagement opportunities and academic and campus resources through our Mane Monthly, an email newsletter sent to new transfer students every month 

• Host several events each semester specifically for new transfer students, including Welcome Week and National Transfer Student Week. We always have free snacks and water on hand for our students!
