2027 Fair Information
Registration
Each student entry requires a separate registration unless it is a team project. Team projects can include all of the participating students’ information on one registration.
Please have all correct information ready before registering.
Deadline for Entries: Registration must be completed by Wednesday, February 17th, 2027.

7:45am – 8:45am – Check In and Presentation Set Up
8:50am – Welcome Remarks
9:00am – 10:30am – Judging
9:30am – Teacher Meeting with Fair Director, Jeanne
11:00am – 11:30am – Public Showing of Events
11:30 – 12:00 – Fair Floor Closed
12:00pm – Pictures and Prizes

Fees & Payments
Registration Fees are per student. Students participating in a group will still each pay the registration fee.
Elementary Fair: $15.00 per student.
Junior & Senior Fair: $25.00 per student.

Deadline for entry fees (online and mail) must be received by Monday, February 22nd.
Resources
**Each student must have form 2A, the Approval Form at the fair. Teachers, please bring a printed copy for each student.**
Poster and Display Prohibited Items:
- This includes water, food, soil, sand, rocks, and waste samples..
- No biological materials :Living, dead, or preserved plants and animals, taxidermy, fungi, bacteria, and body fluids are banned.
- No hazardous items: Sharp objects (needles, knives, pipettes), glass, flames, highly flammable materials, dry ice, and open-cell batteries are not allowed.
- No distractions: Sounds, flashing lights, and strong odors are prohibited.
- No weapons or dangerous devices: Firearms, poisons, drugs, and unshielded high-voltage equipment are banned.

Volunteer at the Science Fair!
The Science Fair is a great way to get involved in the community. We are currently looking for three types of volunteers: Judges, Event Staff, and Vendors.
Judges: Do you work in industry or have a science background? We are looking for judges on both Thursday and Friday. You do not have to have any previous science fair experience.
Event Staff: If you are wanting to give back and volunteer your time volunteering as event staff is a great way to go. No experience required. There are several 2-hour slots available where you can help with things like: Setting up, checking in, assisting teachers and students find their places, being a smiling face to help welcome everyone, assisting with ribbons & prizes, and breaking down the fair when it has ended.
Vendors: If you are an organization or company and would like to set up a STEM activity, we would like to welcome you to bring your set-up both days. Students and their families will be able to visit your booth and learn about your organization and participate in your activity. Please contact the STEM Center for more information: [email protected]
