Austin O’Brien

Austin O'Brien is a two-time graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University from 2023 and 2025. In his time as a student, he was an active student leader, serving as Editor-in-Chief at the Lion's Roar Newsletter and as the Director of Financial Affairs in our Student Government Association. His work as a student culminated into being a member of the Student Affairs Student Leader Hall of Fame in 2025.

Through his SE-1010 class, Austin hopes to push for student success inside and outside of the classroom. He knows that while academic success is key, a student can get the full Southeastern experience by participating in outside activities that develop students into well-rounded individuals. He teaches students in the College of Business and the College of Nursing.
