Dr. Dari Calamia completed her Bachelor of Science from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1996. She later completed her Master of Science in Nursing Education at Southeastern in 2006, followed by a Doctorate degree with a dual focus in Nursing Education and Administration from William Carey University in 2017.
Dari has been a nurse for 29 years. Currently, she serves as an RN to BSN Coach in Southeastern’s RN to BSN Program. However, she worked as a full-time faculty member in Southeastern’s BSN undergraduate program for 16 years.
Area of Expertise
Dr. Calamia has conducted research on nursing burnout and student faculty interaction outside the classroom. She has published research in the Journal of Nursing Education and Practice. She is committed to student success and helping those who want to further their academic achievement.
